In 2023, I received a Great Employee Moments (G.E.M.) - Emerald Award, the highest level, which included a monetary award and secured a spot on the company Performance Trip. This is a peer recognition program at Revel Systems that is approved by the Executive Team. To qualify at the Emerald level, employees must exceed standards of excellence in at least four categories: Customer Success, Revenue Generation, Cost Savings, Boosting Team Morale, and Sustained excellence.
While serving as Lead Media & Communications Specialist of a small team, I was able to meet many reknown poets and revive a student poetry organization on campus that held their first funded Poetry Night. I was honored to receive the Thomas Lux Poetry Award in 2019.
I represented SWP in their on-site Leaders Emerging Among Professionals (LEAP) Shark Tank competition and won first place, securing funding for a site-wide community beautification project. Our project spotlighted the creative side of engineers and scientists who submitted images in four categories (SRS Scenery, Science as Art, Nuclear Knowledge and Local Scenery). Submissions were juried by a group of SRNS executives.

A People's Choice category debuted as a local exhibition free and open to the public before images were moved to on-site facilities.
